Competitive Cuts LLC is committed to providing reliable and professional lawn care and landscaping services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms for cancelling services and requesting refunds.

By scheduling or purchasing services from Competitive Cuts LLC, you agree to the following policy.

1. Service Cancellations

To cancel your monthly service, please call 636.614.9927.  Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.

2. Same-Day Cancellation or Missed Appointment

If service is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or if the service team arrives and cannot complete the work due to:

  • Locked gates
  • Obstructed access
  • Pets not secured
  • Vehicles blocking work areas
  • Unsafe or inaccessible property conditions

Competitive Cuts LLC reserves the right to charge a service call or partial service fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.

3. Recurring Service Cancellation

Customers enrolled in weekly or bi-weekly service programs may cancel recurring services at any time by providing notice prior to the next scheduled service visit.

Cancellation requests received after a service route has been scheduled may apply to the following service cycle.

4. Prepaid Services

Some services may require prepayment, including but not limited to:

  • Aeration and overseeding
  • Mulch installation
  • Landscape installations
  • Sod installation
  • Seasonal cleanup packages

Refund eligibility for prepaid services is as follows:

  • Full refund if canceled at least 48 hours prior to scheduled service
  • Partial refund if materials have already been purchased
  • No refund once work has started

Material costs already purchased specifically for the project are non-refundable.

5. Weather Delays

Outdoor services may be delayed due to:

  • Rain
  • Snow
  • Severe weather
  • Unsafe ground conditions

Weather-related delays do not qualify for refunds. Services will be rescheduled to the next available service date.

6. Service Satisfaction

If a customer believes a service was not completed properly, Competitive Cuts LLC must be notified within 48 hours of service completion.

We will review the request and may, at our discretion:

  • Re-perform the service
  • Provide a partial refund
  • Offer a service credit

Refunds will not be issued for issues reported after the 48-hour window.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable once completed:

  • Lawn mowing
  • Seasonal cleanups
  • Leaf removal
  • Snow removal
  • Salt applications
  • Landscape installations
  • Sod installations

Due to the nature of outdoor labor services, completed work cannot be undone.

8. Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Competitive Cuts LLC directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in:

  • Suspension of services
  • Additional administrative fees
  • Collection activity if payment remains unpaid

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • ACH Bank Transfer
  • Venmo
  • PayPal
  • Zelle
  • Check

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider but typically take 5–10 business days.

10. Policy Changes

Competitive Cuts LLC reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.
